Lead Pastor – Mark Potter

Pastor Mark was born into a Free Methodists Pastors home in 1963 in Lafayette Indiana. He grew up in several different states and found Jesus as his personal Savior in his early teen years. He graduated form high school in 1982 from Gods Bible School in Cincinnati, OH. After graduation he attend Hobe Sound Bible College in Florida were he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies.

After college he began his Pastoring in 1992 at the Wesleyan Church in Terra Alta, West Virginia as Youth Pastor. In 1994 he moved to Greenfield, IN. as Youth Pastor and was here for three years. In 1997 he took his first Senior Pastor role in Peoria, IL. And then moved back to Florida to be the Youth Pastor of the college church of his Alma Mater Hobe Sound Bible Church. While there he also was the director of a short-term mission’s organization called Touching Lives For Christ.

In 2006 he became a Chaplin in the Florida State Prison system and then in 2009 became the Senior Pastor in Tuscaloosa AL. where he Pastored for 10 years. In March of 2020 he moved back to Greenfield and accepted the Senior Pastor position after being gone for 26 years.

Pastor Mark has been married to Tammy Lackey for 35 years and they have three children and six grandchildren together. They enjoy Antique shopping and spending time with their grandchildren. Mark enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.
